After over a month of speculations about her pregnancy, Alessandra Ambrosio has officially confirmed that she’s pregnant!Here’s what she wrote on her website:

Hi everyone!

First of all, i would like to wish a happy new year to everybody and say that i have been really busy working a lot. Also, I would like to announce some really great news! My boyfriend Jamie and I were surprised in the beginning of the year with some delightful news that we are expecting our first child together!

This is a dream come true and a really special moment in our lives! I’m very happy to say that our baby looks healthy and that we are really excited to be mom and dad and raising a child together. I hope this year for you all has started full of amazing surprises like it has been with me.

For the time being, I ready to start to enjoy and dedicate myself to this new chapter in my life and I hope to be working soon enriched by our love for our new baby. [Alessandra Ambrosio]

She was joined on her shopping spree by the mother of her ex-boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio. Even if Gisele and Leo have split a few years ago, she’s still good friends with his mom Irmelin Indenbirken.

Here are some candid pictures of Tyra Banks filming a segment of her TV show at the Tents at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Bryant Park, inviting fans into a fashion show and giving them special “Tyra” gift bags.

Tyra’s new reality show is inspired by “The Devil Wears Prada” and is a competition that takes place in the world of fashion magazines. The ultimate winner of the show will land a job in the fashion industry.

Here’s what the producer Ken Mok said about the show:

“It is a competition show about aspiring assistants looking to become assistant editors at a fashion magazine. They’re trying to prove themselves as aspiring fashionistas, that they have a sense of style and savvyness, all the things to make it in the fashion world.”

Supermodel Kate Moss is planning to “party all week” to celebrate her birthday.

Kate, who turns 34 tomorrow (January 16, 2008) will spend her birthday with her friends in London, and then continue celebrating during the week.

A source said: “On her birthday itself Kate is meeting friends at The Dorchester Hotel then going for a big night on the town at one of London’s leading nightclubs.

But there’s no way she’s going to finish there. The next day she’s celebrating at her friend Davinia Taylor’s house in St. John’s Wood, where she’s been staying for the past eight months.

Then it’s going to be on to her country pile in the Cotswolds. She’s asked her boyfriend Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart, the lead singer of his band The Kills to entertain guests.”

Kate is reportedly eager to impress guests with her own “rock chick” credentials.

The source added to Britain’s Daily Express newspaper: “She wants to re-establish herself as a would-be singer and rock chick by joining in the same way she used to get on stage with old boyfriend Pete Doherty.

She is also considering inviting some of the locals from the village for afternoon tea and cakes and a happy birthday sing-song over the weekend.” [Source]
