Australia’s Next Top Model winner Demelza Reveley prepares backstage ahead of the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer with Alex Perry and IMG Fashion gala event, celebrating 10 years of Fashion Targets Breast Cancer in Australia, at the Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival Marquee, Martin Place on August 12, 2008 in Sydney, Australia. The opening party and show is a prelude to the first day of the Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival 2008, which will run from August 13-17.
The fashion industry has celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer campaign in Australia with a glamorous celebrity-studded show by designer Alex Perry in Sydney.
The campaign, which started in the US before spreading to several other countries including Australia, raises awareness of breast cancer and funds for research.
The gala birthday event, held in a marquee in Martin Place, attracted a host of celebrities and fashionistas eager for a look at Perry’s spring summer collection, which featured flowing sparkly frocks in pastels and edgier animal prints.
The event also doubled as a pre-launch for the Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival, which kicks off today.
The festival is designed to bring fashion to the people with shows from a number of top designers open to the public, just as their collections hit stores.

Models wearing designs made from Australian Wool at the Australian Wool and Woolmark launch as part of the Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival 2008 at the Sydney Theatre Company on August 12, 2008 in Sydney, Australia.
Australian Wool Innovation has launched a new-look Woolmark as well as a new exclusive Australian Merino brand, which it says represents an evolution of the Australian Merino anniversary logo which was first showcased on the global stage in 2007.
According to AWI, the Woolmark’s has taken on a fresh look and licensee program for “today’s smarter, greener world”. [Source]

Anja Rubik (born June 11, 1985 in Cz?stochowa, Poland) is a Polish model, currently living in New York City. Rubik lived in Greece, Canada, and South Africa as a young girl. She was introduced to modeling at a young age. She was in a British high school in Paris at the time. She wanted to finish her schooling before officially becoming a model, therefore she only worked on school holidays. Shortly after graduating she began her career, and was featured on the cover of various magazines, including Vogue Italy, Numero, Flair, and more. She has modeled for Givenchy, Chloe, Christian Dior, Hermès, Chanel, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, and many other top designers. She has also done haute couture for Valentino, Chanel, and Elie Saab.
